The Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration Lagos- Nigeria (RCICAL) is glad to extend to the public, the National Policy on Arbitration and Alternative Disputes Resolution (ADR), 2024 which is a landmark policy, approved by the Federal Executive Council (FEC) of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (FRN) in July 2024, is aimed, inter-alia, at making Nigeria a regional and indeed global leader in arbitration and ADR practice.
RCICAL had been in the forefront of canvassing for this policy after the successful enactment of the Arbitration and Mediation Act (2023) and can, without any form of equivocation, assert that say that it is capable of tackling the myriad of challenges to a seamless practice of Arbitration and Alternative Disputes Resolution (ADR) mechanism.
RCICAL heartily congratulates and rejoices with the HAGF and by extension the Federal Government of Nigeria on these giant strides. In the same vein, all relevant stake-holders are hereby congratulated and welcome to a commercial scheme where security of investments is guaranteed.
