Resolving Disputes, Advancing Commerce

The Centre is not a profit making institution and is established with the prime objective of providing a system for expeditious settlement of disputes for the benefit of parties engaged in Trade, Commerce and Investments with and within the region, through fair, inexpensive procedures, so that resort to arbitration institutions outside the region may no longer be necessary; and to promote the wider application of the United Nations Commission for International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) Arbitration Rules within the region.
